About SOTE

OUR STORY (Origin + name)

Disappointed by the synthetic, hormone-disrupting fabrics that dominate fashion, Jessica longed for clothing that honored both her health and her faith. In the midst of an IVF journey — when a God-dream and necessity collided — she began to imagine something better. What started as a quiet hope became SOTE: a purposeful brand born out of waiting, resilience, and the desire to build something honest and lasting.

At the heart of SOTE is a commitment to natural fibers at an accessible price point — thoughtful staples designed to be gentle on a woman’s body, supportive of her hormones, safe for her children, and kind to the earth. Each garment is made to last — and when it doesn’t, to return gently to the soil.

Supported by her husband and young son, Jessica designs each piece from her small office in Orange County with intention and prayer — guided by thoughtful detail, honest storytelling, and a deep care for women navigating every chapter of life. Every fabric is hand-selected for purity, ensuring it’s natural, breathable, and skin-safe. Whether through a softly structured blouse or a moment shared in rhythm with the day, SOTE invites you into a slower, more intentional way of living — one that honors where you are and what you’re becoming.

SOTE stands forSalt of the Earth— a name rooted in preservation, longevity, and bringing out the best in what surrounds it. We design pieces that last, elevate your everyday wardrobe, and leave a lasting fragrance of grace and intention.

Preserve. Elevate. Endure.

natural fibers matter

Most synthetic fabrics — like polyester, nylon, and acrylic — are treated with toxic dyes, PFAS, and endocrine-disrupting chemicals. These residues sit directly against your skin, the body’s largest organ, where they can be absorbed and disrupt hormonal balance. Beyond our health, synthetics are fossil fuel–derived, non-biodegradable, and shed microplastics with every wash, polluting our air, water, and food chain.

That’s why we design with thoughtfulness, using only natural fibers and trusted fabrics— protecting the wellbeing of women and the planet we share.
